HOW COULD ADVANCED PERSONAL ENCRYPTION BENEFIT ME?
WHAT DO I DO IF MY ENCRYPTED TEXT DOES NOT PROPERLY DECRYPT?
CAN I "RE-ENCRYPT" TEXT WHICH IS ALREADY ENCRYPTED?
Q: How could advanced text encryption benefit me?
A: Response question: Where do we begin? Just as with insurance or home security systems, you can
survive without encryption, but you can never have peace of mind regarding the privacy of your
personal documents, information, and communications without it. Through a rather elegant solution,
RedKrypt™'s services solve the problem of unwanted third party viewing by precluding interpretation
as opposed to viewing of sensitive data. In addition, with our unique time stamped encryption options you
can micromanage the transfer of information, establishing upper and/or lower time boundaries for when
text can be seen.
Q: What do I do if my encrypted text does not properly decrypt?
A: First, make sure that the selected the option for decryption corresponds to the plan with which
the text was encrypted. If so, ensure that the three letter and six number combination used matches the one
with which the text was encrypted. If the problem persists, feel free to email us at
info@redkrypt.com. If the output box says the message has timed out or
will encrypt at a later time, RedKrypt™ cannot do anything to recover it.
Q: Can I encrypt text which is already encrypted?
A: Certainly. Double encryption is an excellent way to maximize your encryption capabilities as
it increases your possible letter/number input combinations from the standard 17.576 billion to over 308
quintillion (3.08 * 10^20). While not ideal for communications, double encryption
can seclude personal information stored on computers and cloud storages. If you wanted to make a decryption time window,
for example, you could encrypt a message with the Delayed option, then the Hourglass option, establishing upper and lower
time boundaries for when text could be read.
WHY DOES REDKRYPT™ REQUIRE THREE LETTERS AND SIX NUMBERS TO ENCRYPT?
WHAT MAKES REDKRYPT™ DIFFERENT FROM OTHER ENCRYPTION SERVICES?
Q: Why does RedKrypt™ require three letters and six numbers to encrypt?
A: By utilizing a three letter six number passcode users can ensure that only
themselves or others given the passcode used for encryption (within certain time boundaries if the Houglass or Delayed options are used)
can decrypt certain text. With 17.576 billion
possible passcode combinations you can rest assured that your encryption will be virtually uncrackable.
Q: What makes RedKrypt™ different from other encryption services?
A: Unlike the vast majority of consumer encryption services, RedKrypt™ takes a unique approach toward
the service in that it values user-friendliness, utilizes a straightforward business model, and
provides different plans specific to the different needs of consumers. With RedKrypt™, you are ensured
straightforwardness, simplicity, specialization, and security.
WHY DOESN'T REDKRYPT™ SELL AD SPACE ON ITS WEBSITE?
HOW DO I SHARE A PASSCODE WHEN SENDING AN ENCRYPTED MESSAGE?
DOES REDKRYPT™ STORE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT MY ENCRYPTIONS?
Q: Why doesn't RedKrypt™ sell ad space on its website?
A: Our numerous objections to selling ad space include the following:
1. Selling advertising
equally for all plans would disincentivize our team from developing better forms of our service.
2. Bombarding users with advertisements compromises our efforts to ensure our
site's user friendliness.
Q: How do I share a passcode when sending an encrypted message?
A: When sending someone an encrypted message, you must ensure the recipient receives a passcode
(the three letter and six number combination used to encrypt messages) along with the message.
Sharing a passcode through a seperate communication won't heavily compromise your encryption's
effectiveness as it is virtually meaningless out of context.
To maximize the security of your message we suggest you share the passcode through an alternate
form communication (perhaps by phone to avoid a written record).
Q: Does RedKrypt™ store any information about my encryptions?
A: Absolutely not. RedKrypt™'s encryption service is entirely run on your browser, meaning
that information about your encryption activities is not only discarded, it is never
collected to begin with. By doing this we can ensure that even hackers and surveillance agencies
cannot steal or subpoena such information.
WHY IS ENCRYPTED TEXT SO MUCH LONGER THAN REGULAR TEXT?
WHY DOES ENCRYPTION COST MONEY WHILE DECRYPTION IS FREE?
Q: Why is encrypted text much longer than regular text?
A: Our current encryption plans produce encrypted text which is approximately 8.7 times longer
than input text. This is not only done to ensure that no third party can decrypt text through
brute force, but to make sure that the possible number of outputs does not exceed the possible
passcode combinations.
Q: Why does encryption cost money while decryption is free?
A: As RedKrypt™ does not sell ad space we price our advanced plans proportionately to their capabilities.
To ensure that our users are aware of what they are purchasing, however, we never charge hidden fees
for decryption. If you payed honestly for encryption you can expect to decrypt text - encrypted
with any plan - completely free.
CAN REDKRYPT™ STOP HACKERS FROM ACCESSING MY PERSONAL FILES?
IS IT LEGAL FOR ME TO ENCRYPT TEXT IN THE COUNTRY WHERE I LIVE?
CAN I COMBINE SHORTER SEGMENTS OF ENCRYPTED TEXT INTO LARGER ONES?
Q: Can RedKrypt™ stop hackers from accessing my files?
A: As with communication surveillance, hackers are essentially unstoppable. Throwing money at
security software only offers delay time until hackers reverse engineer them. Only with personal
encryption can you ensure an affordable, simple, and timeless solution to any threats to your
computer's security.
Q: Is it legal to encrypt text in the country where I live?
A: Encryption laws vary greatly in different nations. It is important, before importing,
exporting, or utilizing the services of this site, that you verify that your nation's laws
allow for the specific encryption process you wish to complete with RedKrypt™
As delineated in the Terms of Service, by using this site in any
way you agree to adhere to the standard imposed by your nation of residence.
Q: Can I combine shorter segments of encrypted text into longer ones?
A: No. As explained in the "important information" section, combining shorter lengths of encrypted texts
into larger ones will result in un-decryptable text. If your desired text length exceeds that of one
option you must choose another which allows for more characters. We will not offer refunds for
paid encryption which does not decrypt due to amalgamation.
At RedKrypt™, our mission is simple: to provide accessible, affordable, and effective personal encryption services to as many individuals as possible. In doing this we hope to help provide universal cyber security to mitigate - or even eliminate altogether - the threat of cyber-crime, communications surveillance and cloud service infiltration. Until the day when everyone who wishes to can utilize encryption for their personal and professional security, our mission remains ongoing.

"Today, users of the internet are taught to accept the notion that privacy and security are
dead. Many believe that no matter what they do, which software they install, which websites they
use surveillance agencies, corporations, and hackers will always be one step ahead. In releasing
RedKrypt™ my motivation was to shatter this notion in practice and thought, providing an easy,
effective, incredibly inexpensive, alternative solution to information control."

At RedKrypt™ we structure our business model to ensure we never stop improving and expanding our services. Our first step toward expansion is to optimize our consumer site's services by developing more specialized encryption plans (ideally by the Fall of 2015). We then seek to develop encryption services for images, audio, and video files online, followed by consumer oriented encryption software and mobile applications. Only after this would we expand into business solutions, offering customized encryption systems and even encrypted communications. At RedKrypt™ our confidence lies not only in our sustainability, but in our expandability.
